‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Books Ravi Patel For Guest Spot
Grandfathered alum Ravi Patel has been tapped to guest star on the upcoming 13th season of ABC’s medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. He will play Tamir Dahr, a nurse at the hospital. Patel is scheduled for one episode with a possibility for more.
The series premieres its 13th season on Thursday, with returning stars Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson James Pickens Jr and Kevin McKidd.
Patel co-starred opposite John Stamos on Grandfathered and most recently guest starred on Wrecked and Master of None. He also has a remake of Meet the Patels in the works at Fox Searchlight, as co-writer and co-director with his sister Geeta Patel. Ravi Patel co-wrote, co-directed and starred as himself in the docu. He’s repped by TalentWorks and Seven Summits Management.
