Ratings: GOP Debate Steady Without Trump, Apocalypse Begins OK for NBC

Fox News’ coverage of the latest Republican presidential debate on Thursday night drew about 12 million total viewers, on par with last month’s GOP face-off — even though headline-monger Donald Trump sat this one out, instead amassing about 3 million viewers with his off-site event.

NBC | You, Me and the Apocalypse debuted to 5 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, on par with The Slap’s year-ago launch in the time slot and besting the Heroes Reborn finale (3.8 mil/1.0). The Blacklist (7.2 mil/1.6) was steady, while Shades of Blue (6.5 mil/1.3) dipped a tenth.

THE CW | Legends (2.9 mil/1.1) and The 100 (1.6 mil/0.6) each ticked down a tenth from their premieres.

CBS | Leading out of a rash of reruns, Angel From Hell (6.7 mil/1.4) held steady, as did Elementary (6.1 mil/1.1).
