Ratings: ‘Bachelorette’ Boosts ABC’s Democratic Convention Coverage

ABC and NBC tied in the key 18-49 demographic ratings with their respective Democratic National Convention coverage at 10 p.m. ET on Monday. In total viewers, the Disney-owned broadcaster owned the time slot alone.

Of course, it didn’t hurt that lead-in “The Bachelorette” was the top show of Monday primetime, which ABC won outright on an average basis.

Those two aforementioned networks tied across all of primetime on the first night of the Republican National Convention, exactly one week ago. NBC bested its competition in the 10 o’clock hour back then, however.
