Ranking Dead: Ranking the Characters of ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 12

Welcome back to Ranking Dead, where we give a power ranking of The Walking Dead’s characters after every episode and then tally up the points over the course of the season. This is how we’d rank the characters of episode twelve!

5. Judith

There was a limited number of characters to choose from for this week’s rankings. We could go with Tara, but she’s about to backtrack on her promise to keep quiet about the Oceansiders. Not cool! We’ll go with the little lady Judith, who’s just aces at giving the silent treatment and scored a free bracelet to boot.

4. Gabriel

Not too long after the first time Gabriel gave Rosita a pep talk, she tried to shoot Negan. This time after a pep talk from Gabriel, Rosita is … going to try and shoot Negan. Gabriel is really good at inspiring Rosita to shoot Negan.

3. Rosita

Do we think she’s going to be successful in killing Mr. Leather Jacket Man? Nah. Do we appreciate the effort? Sure. I mean, she’s had her eye on the prize all season.

2. Rick

Rick and Michonne, who go together much like chili and mac and cheese, basically had the same kind of episode. Between the two of them, Michonne didn’t stupidly climb up a Ferris wheel to take a look at … well, it was supposed to be a deer, but I guess the special F/X budget was running low. Also, we don’t appreciate the fake-out death, buddy. C’mon.

1. Michonne

Let’s see. She spent a good deal of the episode trying to convince Rick he should be the big leader. What are you talking about, Michonne? You always knew you had to take Negan head-on, you found out where his base is, you are the best fighter alive, and you don’t have fits of psychotic rage. You should be the leader.
