Ranking Dead: Ranking the Characters of ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 10

Welcome back to Ranking Dead, where we give a power ranking of The Walking Dead’s characters after every episode and then tally up the points over the course of the season. This is how we’d rank the characters of Episode 10.

5) Jerry

The only thing sweeter than that cobbler is you, buddy. Whether it was bringing by a generous portion of dessert for our wayward friend Carol, or giving Benjamin a compliment for his sick stick skills, Jerry is the best kind of dude to spend time with in the dystopian future.

4) Gabriel

Well, that mystery of what happened to Gabriel was pretty short-lived. He got kidnapped by some high school goths who have lost … ability … to speak … normally. Still, we appreciate him making a “fine point” when it looked like Rick and the gang might be taken out by Queen Emo over there.

3) Daryl

He got reunited with his crossbow, which is sweet, and he managed to protect Carol’s life by stopping Richard’s stupid plan to get Ezekiel in the fight. Then, on top of it, he did Carol a kindness by not telling her what happened to Glenn and Abraham. In our power ranking of sweetness, it goes Jerry, the cobbler, and then Daryl.

2) Rick

Sorry, zombie with the metal spikes. You might have some armor, but it’ll never be as potent as Rick’s plot armor. This guy keeps getting thrown around, stabbed, surrounded by the undead, and besieged by hostile gangs. And yet he still keeps going.

1) Jadis

No. 1. Jadis. This week. She talks. Like this. It’s. Not too annoying? Eh, I can’t do anymore of that. So, yeah, based on this episode, Jadis is clearly No. 1 even if it’s ultimately going to be shortly lived in a world that’s run by Negan and owned by Rick. Sorry, I didn’t mean to … dump … get it? on her too much.

And now, our overall power ranking for Season 7. Remember, the higher you rank, the more points you get, and it adds up.
