‘Project Runway’ Judges Throw Major Shade at Designers
On Thursday’s Project Runway, the designers attended a fancy press event and were challenged to design a cocktail dress based on their experience. That seemed like a tough task for them. When Tim Gunn came to check on them, he seemed very concerned.
In his Tim Gunn way, he threw some very buttoned up and classy shade. Here are some of his quotes:
“How are you going to respond if the judges say to you that it looks like an ice-skating outfit?”
“I don’t want you to go home, but this has ‘Pack my bags’ written all over it.”
“You have a make-it-work moment. I mean, everyone in here has a make-it-work moment.”
Even Heidi Klum joined in. She said about one dress, “It reminds me of a teen prom dress from the mall that was really inexpensive.”
Project Runway airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
