Pink’s Costly New Kids on the Block Obsession
Pink stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday and told a great story about her favorite childhood band, New Kids on the Block. When Pink was about 7 years old, she repeatedly called the New Kids on the Block hotline. In fact, she called so many times that she actually ran up a $118 phone bill!
Pink’s favorite member of the 1980s boy band was Donny because he was the “bad boy.” But Pink said she talked to all the members — or at least their pre-taped recordings on the other end of the phone.
As for the $118 phone bill, Pink said, “I wrote my mom a $118 check … as an adult.”
