Peter Dinklage Sings Coldplay's 'Game of Thrones' Musical

Between a long, arduous sea voyage and being kidnapped (twice), it’s been a rough season for Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones. But as Peter Dinklage himself reminds us, Westeros’s most detested dwarf is still going strong. That’s the message of this original musical number (written by blockbuster British band, Coldplay) that the actor recorded for NBC’s upcoming charity event, Red Nose Day. A U.S. version of the popular U.K. money-raiser, the three-hour telecast will consist of skits, parodies, and musical performances… or in the case of Dinklage’s ditty, all three in one.

While spoilerphobes should probably beware, Game of Thrones fans will have a blast listening to Dinklage memorialize the many, many characters who have fallen before Tyrion. “Remember Ned Stark, he was a lot of fun but he didn’t make it past Season 1,” he croons, later boasting, “If you thought that Joffrey had to survive, he ain’t in the credits for Season 5.” It’s a spirited musical performance that would even satisfy those notoriously outspoken Pitch Perfect judges Gail and John, who did their own part for Red Nose Day. Of course, if there’s one thing we know about Game of Thrones it’s that nobody is safe, so let’s see if Dinklage is still standing strong when the season finale arrives.

Red Nose Day airs May 21 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
