Perplexed Donald Trump: Why Is Everyone Talking About Marco Rubio?

Donald Trump is perplexed at why the people are so focused on Marco Rubio’s third-place showing in Iowa, but aren’t praising his second-place win.

“People didn’t talk about my second place,” Trump quipped to reporters during a press conference in Milford, New Hampshire, on Tuesday. “They didn’t talk about it as positively as they should have. And yet with Marco, who was more than 2,000 votes behind me, that’s a lot of votes by the way, they said, ‘Oh, he’s surging.'”

Trump also dismissed a question about whether his brand may have suffered from his loss to Ted Cruz, who swept the Iowa caucuses Monday night.

“My brand is doing great,” Trump insisted.

Trump refused to admit he suffered any kind of defeat in Iowa, insisting he wouldn’t change a thing.

Trump also said he doesn’t regret skipping the last GOP debate to hold a fundraising event for veterans.

“I think some people were disappointed that I didn’t go to the debate,” Trump said. “If I had to do it again, I would have done the exact same thing… You know why? Because there were $6 million for the vets in one hour.”

Trump also took a jab at Cruz, blaming him for the escalating feud between the two.

“He insulted me,” Trump said. “He started with the insults.”

Trump also addressed Ben Carson’s allegations on Fox News on Tuesday that Cruz supporters tried to sabotage his campaign by telling caucus-goers that Carson was dropping out of the race.

“That was a disgrace,” Trump said.
