'Outlander' Star Caitriona Balfe Makes Her Choice: Jamie or Frank?
As Claire Randall in Outlander, Caitriona Balfe is constantly being pulled into two directions — past or present, Team England or Team Scotland, keep her secret or expose herself as a time traveller, stay in the Highlands or go home, and the biggest choice: husband one or husband two.
Claire clearly loves both Jamie (Sam Heughan), her great Scot, and Frank (Tobias Menzies), her trench coat contemporary cutie. They both love her back fiercely and enjoy a good roll on a castle floor, but are extremely different dudes with divergent strengths and weaknesses. In fact, they are so dissimilar that we decided to ask Balfe to play a round of “Jamie or Frank?,” a game in which she has to decide which of her fictional spouses she would choose for a variety of hypothetical real-life scenarios — from binge-watching TV to meeting the parents.
Outlander premieres Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
