'Orphan Black' Cast Plays Shag, Marry, Clone

If you didn’t already want to marry the Orphan Black cast, the above video will immediately make you say, “I do.” The four leads of the hit BBC America series — Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, and Kristian Bruun — played a special version of “Shag, Marry, Clone” for Yahoo TV, and their answers provided some insight into what they are — and aren’t — looking for in a television mate. For example, when asked to choose which of the three Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters — Spike, Buffy, and Angel — she’d want to shag, marry or clone, Maslany gave an answer that will cause many a geek heart to flutter: “I wish you had Seth Green on there as the werewolf [Oz], because he was my ideal at the time.”

In addition to Buffy, the actors were also presented with characters from other sci-fi favorites like Doctor Who and Star Trek. In the case of Doctor Who, everyone seemed to agree that the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant, would be the prime candidate for cloning. “I would make, like, Broadchurch 9 with nine David Tennants,” Gavaris says — a pitch that BBC America should seriously consider running with. William Shatner, meanwhile, seemed like prime marriage material amongst the Star Trek offerings. Why? “For the residuals,” Gavaris says. That’s eminent Vulcan logic right there.
