The Hollywood Reporter

Olivia Wilde is lending her voice toward women's health issues in a kickoff video for Revlon's recently launched crowdfunding health initiative. Revlon's second-annual Love Is On Million Dollar Challenge will award a $1 million donation to the charity that raises the most funds for women's health-related causes.

"At last year's finale celebration for their first crowdfunding competition, I got to see firsthand the positive impact the challenge had on so many great charities," says Wilde (Revlon global brand ambassador) in a call-to-action video. "This year, Revlon has expanded the challenge to include and help even more women's health causes."

Over 100 charities dedicated to different aspects of women's health (including breast cancer, cardiac health, diabetes and neurological disorders) have signed up for the crowdfunding competition, which runs through Oct. 26. The top five charities each will win monetary donations from Revlon. According to Revlon, last year the the challenge raised over $4 million.

Revlon also will recognize the initiative at its annual philanthropic luncheon on Sept. 27, where Halle Berry, Courteney Cox, Melanie Griffith and Rashida Jones are among the guests invited. The luncheon will honor Dr. Dennis J. Slamon, director of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program.
