No Olsen Twins Cameo on ‘Fuller House’ Season 2, But Here’s Who Is Returning

Any die-hard Full House fans hoping for a Michelle Tanner appearance on Fuller House are in for a big disappointment. In separate interviews, stars Jodie Sweetin and John Stamos have all but said it’s not going to happen.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sweetin said: “We’ve tried everything. I think we’ve kind of given up.”

Stamos said in an interview with Howard Stern: “They seemed very into it; they were just afraid of acting. They hadn’t acted; they don’t consider themselves actresses.”

But Fuller House superfans need not fear. Season 2 will be chock full of guest stars, like the original boy band New Kids on the Block. All of the original members will play themselves for an episode in which Stephanie attempts to get them to perform at a birthday party for her sister D.J., played by Candace Cameron Bure. There will also be plenty of other guest appearances from the rest of the Tanner family and former flames.

As far as an Olsen twins’ return, creator Jeff Franklin says, “We still love them and the door is always open and I hope it happens.”
