Tom Hanks, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brie Larson and Christopher Guest will be on hand to present at BAFTA L.A.'s Britannia Awards, the British Academy announced Wednesday. English comedian-actor Ben "Doc Brown" Smith is set to host the annual gala, which is set to take place Oct. 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
This year's ceremony will honor Ang Lee (John Schlesinger Britannia Award for excellence in directing), Samuel L. Jackson (Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for worldwide contribution to entertainment), Ricky Gervais (Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for excellence in comedy), Ewan McGregor (Britannia Humanitarian Award) and Jodie Foster (Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for excellence in film).
Felicity Jones will receive the night's highest accolade, the Britannia Award for British artist of the year, for her film achievements this year. The actress, best known for her Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated role opposite Eddie Redmayne in The Theory of Everything, will star next in Ron Howard's Inferno, Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and J.A. Bayona's A Monster Calls.
The Britannia Awards, presented by Jaguar Land Rover and American Airlines, will be produced by Done + Dusted.
Viewers can tune in to the ceremony when it airs on cable network Pop on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
