Reelz announced Sunday that it has ordered the new reality series "Hollywood Hillbillies," and renewed its first reality series, "Beverly Hills Pawn" for a second season.
Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard described "Hollywood Hillbillies" as "'Beverly Hillbillies' meets 'Honey Boo Boo.'" He said it would be a "reality sitcom."
The network's other reality offering is "The Capones," which follows distant relatives of the infamous gangster Al Capone. It debuts in the fall.
Reelz made the announcement at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Sunday.
The colorful Capones, who run a Chicago pizzeria, include characters with nicknames like "Sausage," "Cherry Lips" and "Meatball." In a sizzle reel Sunday, they yelled at each other a lot.
