6 a.m. I usually wake with no alarm, I just rise. I don't have to be anywhere until 8. I do a spine strengthening in bed: A backbend is like coffee, it wakes you up. Then I light a candle and do a 20-minute mantra-based meditation. The mantra has no meaning, it's just a vibration; thoughts come and go.
6:45 a.m. I make a vegan shake with a fresh 12-ounce green juice, banana, blueberries, acai and goji berries and VeganSmart protein powder, which we are going to start manufacturing. I also add minerals from my nutritionist. I drink half of a can of Celsius, a healthier version of a strong energy drink.
8 a.m. I take a class at my new center Tantris, down the block from my Hollywood Hills house. I give the teachers, who are deeply trained in yoga science and scripture, feedback. If you could educate the millions of practitioners of the physical side of yoga on what it really is, it would change the vibration of this planet. We haven't gotten Puffy in a class yet, but I'll get him there.
9:15 a.m. I drive to Cryohealthcare on La Cienega Boulevard. Cryotherapy [cold therapy] decreases inflammation and fatigue and increases cell rejuvenation and metabolism. I've been doing it for over a year.
9:30 a.m. I head to my All Def Digital office in downtown L.A. I have 60 great kids producing fun content, music, comedy and poetry; that is as therapeutic as any meditation. There are meetings about financials, Tantris, the fashion line, development - we put four shows on the air in November [including All Def Comedy and a show for MTV], two shows for an NBC app and an impromptu-concert Spotify show.
1 p.m. For lunch, my office gets Postmates delivery from By Chloe [in Silver Lake]: They make vegan meatball subs with cheese and pesto. It has become my new favorite place. Sometimes I take a yoga class, not always.
6:30 p.m. Lately, I've been going back to Tantris.
8 p.m. I see my kids [Ming, 16, and Aoki, 14] before or after my last class. I live alone, so I eat out for dinner, at Veggie Grill [on Sunset Boulevard] and Craig's - great vegan chicken Parmesan. Junk vegan food is still 100 times healthier than animal products.
11 p.m. I meditate again.
11:30 p.m. I fall right to sleep. When you meditate, you need less sleep. Six hours is the most I can take.
