The Simmons Family Jewels are going back into cold storage.
A&E has decided to pull Gene Simmons Family Jewels, the reality show documenting the Kiss bassist's home life with his partner, Shannon Tweed, and their two kids, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The show had been on the air for seven seasons.
Simmons said that he decided to bring the show to an end due to other commitments, including a Kiss tour and his other business obligations.
"It has been a wonderful, life-altering experience for our family, and after seven successful seasons, we feel it's time to move on," Simmons, Tweed, and their children Sophie and Nick said in a collective statement. "A big thank you to A&E for allowing us to tell our story. ... This is not the end of our story, it's the beginning of a new chapter."
