Tonight's the semi-final round on "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars," and we've got the scoop on what one red hot all-star couple has planned.
Yahoo! TV has been following Karina Smirnoff all season, and now we have a sneak peek on what the pro dancer and her partner, Apolo Ohno, will be doing for tonight's ultra-important semi-finals round.
The power couple will have two dances to tackle: A rumba to the Michael Jackson song "Man in the Mirror" and a "big top" jazz to Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For." (Not sure what a big top jazz is? Neither are we, but we can't wait to find out!)
Karina has already told us that song selection is key to the performance: "A lot of times we get a lot of inspiration from the song," she said. "If you like or love, or even if you don't hate, the song you are dancing to, you can create something absolutely amazing and incredible. And sometimes you get music that doesn't fit the dance, fit the energy."
That's certainly not the case with this week's songs! Apolo has already listed "Man in the Mirror" as one of his two favorite Michael Jackson songs. (The other: "Smooth Criminal.")
The Olympic speed skater also told People magazine this week has been "by far the absolute hardest week" he's had so far on "Dancing With the Stars," but it's not for lack of having an "absolutely incredible teacher who is so passionate and so into giving her best."
With Tuesday night's double elimination looming, these all-stars need your votes now more than ever! Online voting at both ABC.com and Facebook starts immediately following the show and is open until 11 AM ET/ 8AM PT Tuesday morning, or you can call in or text your vote for one hour after the show. (Be sure to watch tonight's episode for all the numbers.)
Be sure to check out Karina Smirnoff and Apolo Ohno on "Dancing With the Stars: All Stars," along with all the other semi-finalists, tonight at 8 PM EST on ABC.
