Come again? There's a reason why Blake Lively has stayed fit and doesn't mind showing off her toned physique on red carpets -- she just has an active lifestyle! Mrs. Ryan Reynolds recently revealed during an interview with Vogue Paris that she eats all the chocolate she wants, and doesn't feel the need to hire a personal trainer to stay in shape.
"I'm lucky to have an active lifestyle," the 26-year-old admits of having a skinny figure. "I'm always on the go. I don't need to have a [trainer] or pay attention to what I eat. I can't start my day without a cup of hot milk chocolate or finish without crunching a few dark chocolate squares. It's good for my morale."
But as the Gossip Girl alum points out, her young age is also a factor for keeping off extra body weight.
"That and a good metabolism," she told Marie Claire in 2012. "I could lie and put it down to dog walking, but you would be well within your rights to call my bluff: my dog weighs three pounds. I take six steps and she's done for. In a few more years, I'll need to have a new secret, as in an incredibly strict diet regime."
That may be hard for the Savages star, however. At the time (when she was only dating now husband Reynolds), Lively admitted to Marie Claire she always had one thing in common with her past boyfriends, who have included Penn Badgley and Leonardo DiCaprio. "They all like to eat," she said. "To be around me, you must love food or I'm the most obnoxious person you've ever met. I'm in a big cooking phase. That's all I talk about. If you went to my house and didn't know who it belonged to, you would not think it belonged to an actress."
