Ashley Judd appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday to share her excitement about everything from food, Zumba, county fairs, college basketball -- and all the way back to food again.
After Jimmy Kimmel had been complaining all week about how much he ate in Austin during SXSW, Ashley revealed that she spends as much time planning her food on a film set as she does her role. To stave off the calories, she takes Zumba dance classes.
"It is all about shaking your butt -- it's dancing and embarrassingly old-school aerobics," Judd revealed, saying she took up the exotic class to cross train her brain, but then realized: "I just like to wiggle."
When Kimmel next flashed up a photo of Ashley feeding some pigs, she proudly revealed that it was at "the Wilson County Fair, that's the biggest fair in Tennessee," bragged the daughter of country singer Naomi Judd.
Determined not to miss out on the opportunity of pledging her undying fandom to the Kentucky Wildcats on the eve of the March Madness college basketball tournament -- "it is that time of year!" -- the topic of conversation finally came around to Divergent, which she was on the talk show to promote the same night it premiered in Los Angeles.
"Making Divergent was great fun, there is a built in phenomena and it has an avid fan base," gushed Judd, before reverting back to her favorite subject -- food.
"They had great donuts -- they have Do-Rite donuts in Chicago," she said, revealing that her favorite was "an old fashioned. They are very difficult to find these days. It has an interesting crumb around the edge and they use valrhona chocolate," she explained with her mouth watering at the sweet memory.
"I had a donut by my chair when shooting and thought about it all day, but when we wrapped, someone had eaten it!" she exclaimed, clearly still upset the loss.
