New Dance Moms Scarier Than Old Dance Moms
On Tuesday’s Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller abandoned the dance troupe while she dealt with her Federal fraud investigation. That left a leadership vacuum — but by no means a drama vacuum. The moms of the “mini team” clashed while preparing for this week’s competition. The older dance moms noticed that there was tension between the mini moms.
Kerri, the mother of six-year-old Peyton, said, “I threatened to call the cops on Tiffanie last night.” Tiffanie, the mother of eight-year-old Alexus, described a scene at a rehearsal in which Peyton was standing and crying, “Mommy, stop!” Kerri rebutted, “No, she didn’t. Peyton was on my lap, you dumb c***.”
The dance moms of the older dancers tried to make peace between the women, saying, “You can’t work against each other. That’s what you’ve been doing. That’s not a team.” Though working against each other is a staple of Dance Moms etiquette, it seemed to calm the group enough for them to get through the competition.
Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on Lifetime.
