‘NCIS’ Casts ’24’ and ‘Twilight’ Alum Sarah Clarke for Guest Gig with Possibility of Larger Role

Sarah Clarke will join “NCIS” as a guest star in the final two episodes of the current thirteenth season, Variety has learned. Sources say there is an option for her to become a series regular next season.

Clarke, who stars in Amazon’s “Bosch,” will play Tess Monroe, an FBI special agent who has recently transferred to D.C. from New York City. The multiple divorcée character is described as being quick-witted, tough, shrewd and as sexy as she is strong.

“We feel so fortunate to have Sarah Clarke joining us to play Tess,” commented “NCIS” showrunner and exec producer Gary Glasberg. “I’ve been a fan of her’s going back to ’24’ and more recently ‘Bosch.’ She’s a gifted actress, a total pro, and we can’t wait to introduce her to our ‘NCIS’ family and have some fun.”

Season 14 of “NCIS” will see some major changes. While Clarke joining the ensemble in a regular capacity is a possibility, original cast member Michael Weatherly, who has played Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo since the series’ start, will exit the show at the end of Season 13.

Clarke starred in the first three seasons of “24,” and played Kristen Stewart’s mother in the “Twilight” franchise. Her TV credits include “Covert Affairs,” “The Tomorrow People” and “Nikita.”

Clarke is repped by Gersh and Levine Management.
