The Office will leave big shoes to fill for NBC comedies next season, and the peacock network has just announced a few of the shows that will get their shot at carrying the torch.
Parks & Recreation has been renewed for a sixth season, as the biggest sitcom to continue for NBC.
Meanwhile, the Whitney Cummings vehicle Whitney and the family comedy 1600 Penn (starring Bill Pullman, Jenna Elfman and Josh Gad) were both canceled, according to Deadline.
This news comes after the network picked up three new comedy series: Sean Saves the World (starring Sean Hayes), About a Boy (starring Mini Driver) and Family Guide (narrated and executive produced by Jason Bateman).
Cult favorite Community is said to still be on the bubble.
