Narcos Renewed for Seasons 3 and 4

Just days after its sophomore run started streaming, Netflix’s Narcos in one fell swoop has been renewed for Seasons 3 and 4.

José Padilha and Eric Newman will continue to serve as executive producers of the series, which will debut Season 3 sometime in 2017, Netflix announced.

Narcos chronicles the real-life stories of the drug kingpins of the late 1980s and the corroborative efforts of law enforcement to meet them head on in brutal, bloody conflict. Im doing so, it details the many, often-conflicting forces —- legal, political, police, military and civilian — that clash in the effort to control cocaine, one of the world’s most valuable commodities.
