'Modern Family' Sneak Peek: Gimme a Spring Break
Just like millions of real families around the states, spring break has sprung for the Dunphys of Modern Family, and Claire and Phil have to figure out what to do with their suddenly school-less brood.
In this exclusive clip from Wednesday’s “Spring Break” episode, control freak Claire has decided to dedicate her time off to another annual rite of spring: cleaning. Through her attempts to downsize and donate, viewers will discover yet another of her quirkier half’s passions, which can be added to the list that already includes magic, cheerleading, drones, shants, Apple products, and cheesy movies. And as Claire is always doing double (sometimes triple) duty, she is brainstorming ways to get Alex out of the house and to stop her from from obsessing over the college admissions process. She lands on a winner — attending a music festival with Haley — but not because Alex has developed an intense love of mustaches, floral hair wreaths, or indie rock bands. Find out why Alex decides to tag along in the video, but to see how the sisters coexist at the concert you’ll have to tune in!

Also in this installment, Jay and Gloria challenge each other to give up cigars and Spanish telenovelas, respectively. But both indulge secretly on the side when Gloria goes to the faculty talent show with Cam and Jay accompanies Mitchell to pick up Lily from camp.
