Mindy Kaling is busier than ever working on her FOX show, "The Mindy Project," but the former "The Office" star is still hoping she'll be able to return to Dundler-Mifflin one last time before the series comes to an end.

"My schedule's pretty tough but I would love to come back," the actress told AccessHollywood.com's Laura Saltman, when asked if she'll be bringing Kelly Kapoor back for the series finale. "I love 'The Office.' I feel like whenever I go there it's like coming home."

Adding, "And I still watch the show - it's so much fun. The last season has been awesome."

Fortunately for fans, Mindy is doing all she can to remedy any scheduling conflicts that would prevent her from appearing in the final "Office" showdown.

"I don't wanna like, miss out on the last moment," she said. "So [executive producer] Greg Daniels and I were talking this weekend and we're gonna try to make it work so I can come back and do one."

"The Office" will sign off with a special hour-long final episode in May.
