Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys Duet With Contestant on ‘The Voice’

On Sunday, The Voice aired a special half-hour Season 11 preview featuring its new coaches, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, who were blown away by some of the young talent, including Darby Walker.

Walker auditioned by singing Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me.” Cyrus, Keys, and Shelton all turned around for her. That left the coaches to fight it out.

Cyrus wanted Walker on her team so badly that she joined the singer onstage to sing a duet of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”

Walker said, “When I was 10 years old, ‘No One’ used to be my song. I used to belt that out. My 10-year-old self would be freaking out right now.” Not to be outdone by Cyrus, Keys then joined the singer for a duet of “No One.”

Walker said, “I just sang with Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, and I’m still processing the fact that that just happened.”

In the end, she chose Miley Cyrus.

The Voice premieres Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. on NBC.
