Michigan News Anchor Ribbed By Co-workers For Hard Fall
Kim Degiulio of WDIV in Detroit, Mich., decided to leap down the dunes at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore with a jovial stride. Unfortunately, sand and gravity had other plans. While planting her foot, Degiulio took a tumble, spinning several dozen feet before finally coming to a stop. Fortunately for us, her boyfriend captured the whole thing on video and she brought it to work for a little show-and-tell.
It’s apparent from the video that she had a good laugh about the whole thing. And so did her fellow anchors. The group joked about the spill, and Degiulio informed them of how much sand she ended up accidentally eating and the plethora of it that came out of her ears. The most important thing was that she was OK. “But you know what? I made it back in one piece,” said Degiulio, “I’m here.”
