Meg Ryan and Adam Scott Perform Soap Opera Written by Beyoncé

Meg Ryan and Adam Scott visited The Late Late Show With James Corden and quickly found themselves in soap opera written by Beyoncé. It was all part of the recurring bit from the show called “The Bold and Lyrical.”

In the sketch, Corden learns that Scott is having an affair with Ryan, who is supposed to be in a relationship with Corden. As the scene unfolds, all of the dialogue is derived from Beyoncé lyrics.

While it was certainly no Lemonade, it was entertaining to watch the three talented actors wax poetic with Beyoncé lyrics.

In the end, Corden decided to leave the cheating Ryan, saying, “I don’t you’re ready for this jelly. My body’s too bootylicious for ya, babe.”

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 p.m./11:37 p.m. CT on CBS.
