Marvel’s comic book series about a disparate group of teenagers who discover that their respective parents are part of a crime organization known as “The Pride” has received a series order at Hulu, our sister site Deadline reports.

Upon realizing that their parents’ annual “charity” gathering is in fact a meeting of nefarious time-travelers, wizards, mad scientists, aliens and mutants, the teens band together to use their own, newly realized powers to vanquish The Pride and fend off any other threats. Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona cocreated the title.

Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are on board to serve as showrunners.

“We’ve known the Runaways‘ story would make great television,” Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb said in a statement, “and being lucky enough to have Josh and Stephanie — who have time and again created shows that speak so genuinely to this exact audience — write and produce the series is nothing short of remarkable.”
