Mariah Carey Glitters on ‘Empire’
This week’s Empire featured Mariah Carey, as she played a superstar named ‘Kitty’ who enticed Jamal to perform a duet with her.
For Jamal, it was an opportunity for him to perform for the first time since he was shot by Freda at the end of last season.

Mariah is no stranger to the big screen, having acted in several movies, most notably in Glitter and Precious, but this was only her second time in a Network TV Drama. Her other show being a guest starring role in Ally McBeal back in 2002.
Kitty and Jamal recorded their duet for the Lyons new Empire streaming service, although if you missed the episode, the single ‘Infamous’ with Carey and Jussie Smollett is available now.
