Man Wins BMW With Dramatic Wheel Spins on ‘The Price Is Right’
It’s “Dream Car Week” on The Price Is Right. On Monday they kicked things off big with Francesca, who won a $120K Aston Martin. The cars kept rolling through on Wednesday, in a dramatic way. First, a contestant named Rodrick spun twice and wound up landing on a dollar, winning $1,000. He put himself in a position to spin again to win a 2016 BMW 320i sedan. But then Samuel came along, and he spun a dollar. So, it was Rodrick versus Samuel, both with a chance to win themselves a car worth over $35,000. On his second spin, Rodrick only got 20 cents. Samuel, however, amazingly spun a second dollar and came away with the money and the new car.
It was a great day for Samuel — in addition to his new Beemer, he won the Showcase Showdown and was able to add a boat to his collection of new modes of transportation. It should be noted another contestant also came away with a big win — Ellen won a game and scored a Yamaha SR400. They even included a helmet because they care!
