Man in Custody Interrupts Live Report on Police’s Excessive Use of Force

On the Australian morning show Today, reporter Aislin Kriukelis was reporting on two Queensland officers being disciplined for excessive use of force when a man being dragged away by police saw the live broadcast and began screaming and yelling. "They’re clearly arresting someone Sylvia, so we’ll find out what’s happening," Aislin reported as the man continued resisting restraint. Police later confirmed that the man in custody had walked into their station and started causing commotion before being taken outside, in full view of cameras. The man was charged with public nuisance and obstructing police, but not before Today caught the scene all on live television.
