Magic Johnson and Jimmy Fallon Made the Same Terrible Investment

Magic Johnson is known for making sound investments. With stakes in Starbucks, Burger King, T.G.I. Fridays, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, Magic knows where to spend his money. But on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Magic revealed his worst investment.

Jimmy asked Magic if he had ever made a bad investment, and the NBA legend quickly responded that he had. Actually, it turned out that Jimmy and Magic had both made the same bad investment: buying a racehorse. They both laughed about the fact that they had been duped into buying a racehorse. Magic, talking about the guy who sold him the horse, said, “He took me out there, and it was running fast by itself,” and following a good laugh, Magic continued, “They put him beside the other nine horses. He ran slow.”
