Maggie Lawson and Paul Greene Star in Hallmark Channel’s ‘My Favorite Wedding’

June has arrived, and so has Hallmark Channel’s annual “June Weddings” movie extravaganza. The festivities begin this Saturday, with Alexa PenaVega’s Destination Wedding, but we’re already looking forward to My Favorite Wedding, premiering June 24. Watch our exclusive trailer debut above.

The movie stars Psych‘s Maggie Lawson and Hallmark fan fave Paul Greene (Campfire Kiss, A Wish For Christmas, Anything For Love, A Christmas Detour, A Perfect Wedding). The official synopsis:

Potential Northwestern fellow Tess Harper (Lawson) lasers through her best friend’s wedding planning like the star doctor she hopes to soon become. In fact, Tess puzzles through any problem – provided it’s not her own. When she meets divorce lawyer and groom’s best friend, Michael (Greene), Tess maneuvers around him like a gurney in the emergency room until she discovers this best man has a few moves of his own.

My Favorite Wedding premieres June 24 at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Channel. Here’s how the network describes the other “June Weddings” originals:

Destination Wedding (June 3, 9 p.m.)
Stars: Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids, Nashville)

Ellie (PenaVega) has been painstakingly planning her sister Mandy’s destination wedding for the longest time. She is excited as guests begin arriving at the idyllic beach resort but is somewhat nonplussed when one of them turns out to be her ex-boyfriend Greg (Jeremy Guilbaut), who is the groom’s best man. When Mandy (Andrea Brooks) and her fiancé don’t show up, Ellie and Greg must lie to the guests and assure them everything is okay… when it clearly isn’t. With the wedding fast approaching and Mandy’s attendance a question mark, Ellie and Greg scramble to stave off disaster while simultaneously falling back in love with each other.

The Perfect Bride (June 10 9 p.m.)
Stars: Pascale Hutton (When Calls the Heart, Sanctuary), Kavan Smith (When Calls the Heart, Supernatural)

Fitness instructor Molly Winters (Hutton) runs the very popular Bridal Boot Camp, helping prospective brides-to-be get in shape, mind, body and soul, for their big day. But things get complicated when she meets Nick (Smith), the fiancé of one of her new “recruits,” and sparks fly. As Molly’s feelings for Nick grow, she finds herself trying to help someone else get ready to marry the man she is falling in love with.

The Wedding March 2: Resorting to Love (June 17, 9 p.m.)
Stars: Jack Wagner (When Calls the Heart, The Bold and the Beautiful), Josie Bissett (The Secret Life of an American Teenager, Melrose Place)

In the follow-up to last year’s The Wedding March, where former college sweethearts Olivia (Bissett) and Mick (Wagner) unexpectedly reunited, the two become partners in running a wedding resort. As they work side by side in this new venture, they learn that although their business relationship is flawed and not working there just may be romance in their future.
