Maddie Ziegler’s Last Dance on ‘Dance Moms’
Tuesday’s season finale of Dance Moms featured Maddie Ziegler’s final performance on the show. The young dance star is moving on to be a judge on So You Think You Can Dance Kids. Her sister, Mackenzie Ziegler, and her mother, Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni, also said farewell to the show that brought them fame.
It was an emotional final episode for the Zieglers, as they said goodbye to their fellow dancers and the dance moms. Many of them have been together for the show’s six seasons. Several of the dancers gave Maddie and Mackenzie hugs before performing together in their final competition. Melissa broke down watching her daughters dance in rehearsal.
The three shared a special moment onstage after their final competition. Melissa thanked the dance company owner Abby Lee Miller but was unable to continue. Maddie and Mackenzie were able to finish, thanking their choreographer, fellow dancers, and dance mom
