Lupita Nyong’o’s Fiery ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Performance
On Lip Sync Battle, Academy Award-winner Lupita Nyong’o took on Regina Hall. And while Regina’s performance had us looking forward to the Weeknd, the heat of this night belonged to Lupita’s rendition of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Whatta Man.”
The risqué performance featured shirtless firemen and some dance moves that shocked nearly everyone who was watching, including hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.
Lupita’s performance was more than good enough for the win. Afterward, Regina said, “I think coming out in the half shirt and, ah … the grinding … I mean, I think that was … unfair. The twerk was on me, I guess.”
Lip Sync Battle airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Spike.
