Louis CK Impressively Dominates on ‘Jeopardy!,’ Wins $50K for Charity

It’s Power Players week on Jeopardy!, and comedian Louis CK competed alongside Pulitzer Prize winner Jonathan Capehart and CNN host Kate Bolduan on Wednesday. And while host Alex Trebek was the one making jokes, Louis was the one dominating the game.

With a fairly impressive lead built up late in the second round, Louis landed on the second Daily Double of the round. “Like, I wanna do something dramatic, but I don’t wanna ruin the…” Louis said before Trebek chimed in with, “Anything you do will be dramatic.”

So he bet $5,000 and got the question right, which put him well on his way to winning $18,399 for the day. Being winner of the game meant $50,000 for his charity, the Fistula Foundation, an organization that helps women in poor countries who have been injured during childbirth.

Trebek pointed out that it’s a not a well-known charity, to which Louis replied, “That’s why I’m here.”
