'Lip Sync Battle' Sneak Peek: Stephen Merchant Gets Down and 'Dirrty'
Perhaps you know Stephen Merchant as the co-creator of The Office, or from his hilarious HBO comedy Hello Ladies. But after witnessing this clip, henceforth, you will only know him as “that guy who flat-out owned ‘Dirrty’ on Lip Sync Battle.”
In this sneak peek at Thursday’s episode, the gawky British comedian — who’s also an executive producer on the show — tackles Christina Aguilera’s 2002 bad-girl jam and makes it his own, ramping up the sex appeal with a tiny Union Jack tank, leather chaps, and black briefs that say “NASTY” on the bum.

He’s joined by a band of spirited backup dancers, who wheel him out in a cage like he’s some kind of untamed sex monster. It’s all so spectacular, co-host Chrissy Teigen can barely take it; she’s visibly shaken by what she’s seen.
Merchant’s opponent this week: actress Malin Akerman. Poor girl doesn’t stand a chance, does she?
