Leslie Mann, Stephen Colbert Give Nation Pep Talk About Trump

On Monday’s The Late Show, Stephen Colbert reprised his role as the nation’s TV dad and tried to give a calming pep talk for the Trump presidency. He brought in the heavyweight, the nation’s TV mom, Lesley Mann: “Things are changing. There’s strange hair in places you never expected. Like the Oval Office.”

Colbert and Mann encouraged the nation to blow off some steam. They joked, “Remember, what you do with your body is between you and your partner … and Mike Pence.” If all else fails, Mann said, “We just want to tell you that everything is going to be OK.”

“We want to tell you that. But we can’t,” Stephen Colbert replied.

“Nope. But this helps,” noted Mann, taking a long sip from a wine glass.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
