Laurel’s Return to ‘Arrow’ Is Not What It Seemed

Arrow finally returned Wednesday night after its winter hiatus, and we finally found out how Laurel returned from the dead. The episode, titled “Who Are You,” picked up where they left off, with Oliver finding out Laurel is still alive. Laurel explained her miraculous revival, saying, “I saw this white light, and it’s just like they say. This angel, she reached out to me, but she wasn’t an angel, she was my sister.”

The story seemed a little off to Felicity, and it turned out that her hunch was right. The person they thought was Laurel was actually Laurel’s “evil twin” from Earth-Two, Black Siren. After spending much of the episode screaming at everyone, Black Siren was finally silenced, thanks to Curtis and a knockout punch from Felicity.

The episode ended with Oliver and Felicity deciding to find and train a new Black Canary. And before it was over, we got a glimpse of who that person might be. At a bar in Hub City, two guys got too handsy with a waitress, and a lady at the bar made them regret it by screaming them out the window.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CW.
