Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich dropped of the GOP presidential race in a 24-hour period, leaving Donald Trump the last man standing and Presumptive GOP Nominee for the White House. TV news operations rushed to snag “exclusive” interviews with Trump – most stunningly, NBC had Lester Holt host the entirety of NBC Nightly News from the Trump Tower lobby.
