Larry Wilmore Turns Up the Heat on Bill Cosby

Larry Wilmore isn’t backing down from his scathing criticism of Bill Cosby. With the numerous media appearances from Cosby’s new attorney, Monique Pressley, Wilmore had plenty to say about their planned approach to the numerous allegations of rape. “So basically the lawyers are going with the defense, ‘Everyone wants ‘ludes! Want some ‘ludes? Here, take some ‘ludes!’” joked Wilmore, breaking out his best Cosby impression. “Well, if this is the case, why did he say he never used them? Oh, oh, oh, me, me, me! I know the answer! Um, because he wanted to be the only one awake for the raping?”

The Nightly Show host then went through other parts of the Cosby team’s defense, pointing out that they haven’t provided any evidence the man is innocent, “This is America. Innocent until proven guilty, right? Nope, that’s for a court of law, not for the court of public opinion. Which, by the way, is the only courtroom available right now, because Cosby seems to avoid actual courtrooms almost as much as he avoids actual pants.”

The Nightly Show airs weeknights at 11:30 p.m. on Comedy Central.
