Lady Gaga Equal Parts Murder and Glamour on 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

On the season premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel, glamourpuss Lady Gaga made her series debut in the killing-est and bloodiest of ways.

The titular Hotel is the impeccably decked-out art deco Hotel Cortez, and Gaga’s throwback 1920s glam looks, complete with turbans, wrap gowns, and blood red lips, definitely hold up to her surroundings. And she is accessorized for murder with the most perfect little finger thimble that doubles as a jugular slicer. She is as high fashion as it is terrifying.

Although the episode “Checking In” was full of guts and gore, it was slow to reveal who’s who, so it’s hard to know exactly what purpose the iconic singer will serve as far as the story, but for now, just looking at her is fabulous. And watching the indulgent ways in which her character moves and kills puts this season of American Horror Story already over the top.
