Kurt Russell Beats the Crap Out of His Buddy James Corden

Kurt Russell stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden to promote Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. But before Kurt came out for his interview, James showed a clip of the last few times the two had “run into each other” in Los Angeles.

In the first encounter, Kurt came out of the elevator that James was waiting for and the two started chatting. Kurt made the comment that James looked in good shape as he patted him on the belly. The Captain Ron star had James put up his dukes as they pretended to box. But Kurt playfully punched James on the arm before leaving, which was too much for the Late Late Show host.

The next time they saw each other was in James’s office, where Kurt upped the roughhousing by putting James in a headlock and throwing him through a wall. Kurt then picked up James and threw him through another wall, all in a very playful manner, saying “I love you, man.” Kurt then yelled, “I’m coming for you, buddy!” before hitting James with a lamp.

The bit ended with James in the hospital. But when the doctor turned around, it was Kurt, who creepily said, “What’s up, James?”

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
