Kristin Davis Cringes While Australian Show Makes Her Reenact ‘Sex and the City’ Scene

Kristin Davis, star of Sex and the City, was on the Australian morning show Sunrise to discuss her refugee work with the United Nations — at least that was the understanding when she agreed to be on the show. When she arrived, the hosts forced her to reenact a famous scene from Sex and the City where character Carrie Bradshaw is broken up with via Post-it note while Davis’s character Charlotte York shows off her engagement ring.

While Davis played nice during the segment, she was visibly unhappy with the piece. After the show, the actress made her feelings known on Twitter by replying to a now-deleted tweet from Sunrise. She also retweeted similar sentiments about the program sidestepping her charitable work. Sunrise tried to make good by pinning a tweet featuring Davis’s efforts with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, but the damage was already done.
