Kristen Hager Joins ‘The Kennedys: After Camelot’ Miniseries On Reelz

Being Human alumna Kristen Hager has been cast opposite Matthew Perry and Katie Holmes in Reelz miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot, the network’s follow-up to its 2011 mini The Kennedys. The four-hour project is set to air in spring 2017.

Hager will play Joan Kennedy, the beautiful blond wife of Ted Kennedy (Perry). Joan’s struggle with her own insecurities and her husband’s indiscretions leads her on a journey through alcoholism and depression and then out the other side. Joan eventually finds her strength and a renewed sense of self worth.

Hager most recently can be seen in Fox’s Gotham and the feature Life, opposite Dane DeHaan and Robert Pattinson, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. Known for her role as Nora on Syfy’s Being Human, Hager also recently completed work on Syfy’s The Expanse. She’s repped by MGMT Entertainment, the Kohner Agency, the Characters Agency in Toronto and Hirsch Wallerstein.

Based on biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli’s After Camelot: A Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present, The Kennedys: After Camelot hails from Muse Entertainment.
