Akash Vukoti, 6, gained fame when he appeared on the NBC show Little Big Shots with Steve Harvey in March 2016. He triumphed over Harvey in a spelling bee competition, correctly spelling difficult words such as derriere, connoisseur and the aforementioned 45-letter word, which left Harvey and the rest of the audience in awe.

Also awe-inspiring? Sofie Dossi, a self-taught contortionist who appeared in America’s Got Talent’s 11th season in 2016. She consistently wowed the judges with her balancing and aerial acts. Dossi made it all the way to the finals of the show, losing to singing sensation Grace VenderWaal.
