Kendra Wilkinson's recent car accident was a wake up call. The 27-year-old former Playboy model confirmed that she's recovering from a bad crash in L.A.'s Tarzana neighborhood over the weekend on Twitter Monday, April 22.
"Thank you for all [the] well wishes," she tweeted. "Just really reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love really is."
On Sunday, US Weekly broke the news that Wilkinson, who's married to former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett III and mom to son Hank Baskett IV, 3, was spotted at Providence Tarzana Medical Center on April 21 following the accident.
According to a source, the Girls Next Door alum was "in shock" and "really sore," but doctors determined that her injuries were not serious.
Last month, Wilkinson made the decision to quit the ABC diving competition show Splash over fears of being injured. "Big mistake signing up for the show," she said. "Sorry I let you all down."
