Readers of TheWrap already know that we’ve been all over Kelly Ripa’s “Live” TV Ratings ever since Michael Strahan left the show last spring.

We’ve already ranked all 168 new episodes by their Nielsen numbers, and each of her 66 different guest co-hosts by their average syndicated rating. Well, this reporter has gone through the bookings again, this time pulling out everyone who has guest co-hosted more than five times since last May. There are eight who have showed up half-a-dozen times or more, and three others who just missed the cut by one episode.

If one is to take frequency for front-running, Jerry O’Connell should be considered the favorite for the gig, with 18 appearances. Also, he’s probably more available than the next two guys. “Mr. Robot” star Christian Slater is the next closest, with 15 episodes. Anderson Cooper has done 11. Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos has guest co-hosted (or is booked to co-host) 10 times to-date. That, plus nepotism, makes him a pretty good bet for the job.
